Strawberries are not easy to preserve and are generally eaten fresh. In order to extend the storage period, they can be processed into strawberry preserved fruit through a preserved fruit drying machine, which can retain its original flavor and is suitable for travel and leisure consumption. It is easy to carry and has a shelf life of up to 12 months.
Strawberry drying process
Preserved fruit drying machine is a good choice for making dried strawberries. Air energy is a new type of drying equipment. It uses the reverse Carnot principle to use a steady stream of air as a heat source, absorb low-level heat energy from the air, and then consume a small amount of electricity to convert low-level heat energy into high-level heat energy, thereby drying the material. The heat pump preserved fruit drying machine is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, consuming air and a small amount of electricity, so it can be dried continuously for 24 hours without being affected by the weather. It only needs to adjust the temperature and humidity suitable for the material to achieve automatic drying without causing unnecessary cost expenditures. Next, I will introduce the heat pump drying process of strawberries:
1. Select strawberries of uniform size, bright color, no scars, no diseases and pests, strong aroma, sweet and sour taste as raw materials;
2. Wash the strawberries and remove the fruit stems;
3. Prepare 40% concentration of sugar solution, put it in a pot and heat it to boiling, then add strawberry fruits, keep it for ten minutes, take out the sugar solution and fruits after cooling, put them in the prepared container, and candied the strawberries for 6-8 hours;
4. Take out the candied strawberries, spread them on a bamboo sieve and drain the sugar for 30 minutes;
5. Keep the temperature of the drying room at about 50 degrees Celsius, dry for four hours, and turn them every two hours;
6. Raise the temperature to 60 degrees Celsius, dry for 6-8 hours, and turn them every 2-3 hours until the moisture content reaches 20%;
7. Cool down the drying room to 30-35 degrees Celsius and dry the strawberries for about 12 hours. Stop drying when the moisture content of the strawberries is about 8%.
